CALL FOR PAPERS


Papers are invited that broadly address the theme of ceroplastics or wax modelling in the following areas:​

Art History 

History

Religion 

Portraiture

Museology

Conservation

Restoration

Collections

Sculpture

Techniques

Materials

Science

Anatomy 

Papers are welcomed from Postgraduate students, early career researchers, artists, and can include works in progress, but must address the themes suggested in the Congress. 
 
Presentations should be in English, and will be allocated 15 minutes each.

 

Prospective participants are invited to submit abstracts of 200 - 300 words in Microsoft Word or plain text format.

 

Proposals must include name, institutional affiliation (if relevant), a short bio (no more than 100 words) and an e-mail address.

Guidelines for posters:

Poster format: Size A1 - 85 cm x 60 cm / 33.1 in x 23.4 in max (portrait).

 

Please be aware that we are unable to accommodate landscape posters. Presenting authors: (at least one for each poster) must register for the Congress.

 

Please ensure that you have registered and paid the appropriate registration fee.

 

Set-up: You may set up your poster from the 31st of August 2017.

 

Authors are advised to travel with their posters and not send them prior to their arrival at the conference venue. If you are unable to attend the Congress but you still wish to present a poster you may send it with a colleague or contact the organising committee at:
